Please note that one person may serve in multiple roles.
Campus or college/specific roles
The Academic Integrity Contact Person: The Academic Integrity Contact Person will serve as the point of contact for questions about the details of the campus or UP college academic integrity process, which is described in policy G-9. Contact Person information is posted to assist students and educators.
The Academic Integrity Liaison: The liaison is a faculty member or professional staff member who serves as a guiding or informational resource for specific campuses or UP colleges. If the campus or UP college has a committee liaison, they are members of the campus or UP college Academic Integrity Committees serving as an informational conduit to AIRO.
The DAISY Administrator: DAISY is an acronym for the Digital Academic Integrity System. This is the online system that educators use to submit academic integrity claims and students use to appeal academic integrity allegations and/or the academic outcome(s) proposed by the educator.
The DAISY Administrator will be responsible for updating the academic unit’s information in the Digital Academic Integrity System (DAISY), for managing academic-integrity-claim information and response deadlines in DAISY, and for uploading/downloading information to/from DAISY as needed. At the conclusion of the academic integrity process, the DAISY Administrator will close the claim in DAISY and refer violations to the Office of Student Accountability and Conflict Response (OSACR). The DAISY administrator, the Academic Integrity Administrator, or their designee will communicate the academic integrity outcome(s) to the educator and the student. The DAISY Administrator is expected to maintain a current understanding of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), the University's policy on confidentiality, and other policies relevant to academic integrity.
Academic Integrity Administrator: The Academic Integrity Administrator may work for AIRO or for a campus or UP college. This administrator is responsible for training the DAISY administrator (see below) and the Academic Integrity Committee (see below) or for seeking training from AIRO. This Administrator will provide the Academic Integrity Committee with informational support and guidance on academic issues as needed. When an Academic Integrity Committee determines that a transcript notation or removal from an academic program is appropriate, this administrator will review the academic integrity claim, any information submitted by the Chair of the Academic Integrity Committee, and appeal information submitted by the student to decide if the transcript notation or removal is appropriate. However, if the Academic Integrity Administrator is on an Academic Integrity Committee that determines that a transcript notation or removal from a program is appropriate, then the student’s appeal of that outcome must be considered by someone else who is appropriate and impartial: the academic leader to whom the Academic Integrity Administrator reports, the Director of the AIRO, or the Director’s designee. When circumstance requires, the Academic Integrity Administrator may need to take on the tasks of the DAISY Administrator.
The Academic Integrity Committee Member: In accordance with policy G-9, this person may be a student or an educator who has a voice in determining academic outcomes for students who are in violation of academic integrity policies.
The Academic Integrity Committee Chair: In accordance with policy G-9, this person is a faculty member who leads the Academic Integrity Committee.

Academic Integrity Responsibilities Office: The Academic Integrity Responsibilities Office (AIRO) advances the understanding of academic integrity and promotes the consistent and equitable application of academic integrity processes across the University.
